On the Trail with David . . . January 2022

The 2022 Election year kicked off with a bang, literally and figuratively.  The Committee to Elect David C. Moran held its Official Campaign Kickoff Event at Social Roost on Tuesday, January 11th.  It was a great success.  Later that week, David Moran attended the Clearwater Bar Association’s Membership Luncheon with special guest, Florida Bar President Michael Tanner.  That same evening, he attended the Clearwater Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Happy Hour at Lucky Dill Deli and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers-Pinellas Chapter Holiday Party at The Honu.  That weekend was the celebration of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and David attended the MLK Dream Big Family Celebration at Albert Whitted Park in addition to his son’s soccer game.  As always, in between his busy work and campaign schedule, David made time to mentor his Lunch Pal at High Point Elementary, as well getting his son to soccer practice and watching all his games.  Later in the month David made his way to Tarpon Springs for a CLE on Health and Wellness and met with local business owners and residents discussing the campaign.  He attended the St. Pete Bar’s Java with Judges, the Pinellas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Member Happy Hour and Membership Drive at Big Storm Brewery, the Clearwater Bar Networking Breakfast at the Belleair Coffee Company, a St. Pete Bar Association presentation on “Protests vs. Riots” presented by Chief Assistant  City Attorney of St Pete, Jeannine Williams, the Fred G. Minnis Bar Association’s General Body Meeting, the St. Petersburg Bar Association’s Monthly Mixer at Trophy Fish, the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club’s “State of the Bay” meeting with Mayors Ken Welch and Jane Castor at The James Museum, and the Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chambers’ Annual Awards Dinner at the Holiday Isles Elks Lodge #1912.  With less than sixths month until the election, the trail will get much busier and David looks forward to meeting with everyone and gaining more and more support.  See you on the trail soon.
